"Fences"

“Fences” Yulaisy Dominguez
The drama “Fences” was written by August Wilsom. In this short story we have the following set of characters: Troy Maxon; Jim Bono – Troy’s friend; Rose – Troy’s wife; Lyons – Troy’s oldest son by previous marriage; Gabriel – Troy’s brother; Cory – Troy and Rose’s son; and Raynell – Troy’s daughter. These characters compose a family with many troubles. They try to stay together as much as possible but through out the play they all start going their own way until Troy dies and their get together for his funeral. Is ugly how for this family is not possible to stay together only doing it for such an ugly moment which is the lost of someone close.
