Jorge Luis Borges was a man of big dreams. This dreams he would always refer to he would turn them or use them in his stories. Also the use of animals and colors was a big face of his writing too. In the stories “Blue Tigers” and “The Zahir” he relates tigers, dreams and in one of them he focuses intensely in the color blue. “Blue Tigers” is mostly about a man following his biggest dream in life which were tigers, which takes him to a village thinking he was going to find a blue tiger but instead he finds blue rocks which turn to be addictive and in an infinite number which was uncountable. In “The Zahir” he is given for change this mythical coin which was said to be addictive. One of the coin’s faces had a tiger a beautiful tiger which would call anyone’s attention. Once he noticed this coin was dangerous he got rid of it but then the only thing he could think about was this coin which was taking over his memory.
